The Blue Water 3-Gun Division

Evolving from Police Pistol Competition and drawing inspiration from associations like the International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA), United Multi-Gun League (UML), and United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA), The Blue Water 3-Gun Division offers an action-packed shooting sport that emphasizes movement, cover, tactical reloading, and situational awareness. Combining the dynamic nature of 3-gun shooting with a focus on practical, real-world scenarios, this competition tests participants' versatility and skills with pistols, rifles, and shotguns, used in combination on the same stage.

Weekly practice sessions are held outdoors every Thursday at 5:00 pm, providing shooters with an opportunity to hone their skills in a supportive and engaging environment. The primary competitions take place almost every month from February to October, featuring stages designed to challenge competitors with diverse layouts, target types, and shooting positions.

These events are a thrilling experience for both participants and spectators. Newcomers are encouraged to attend a Thursday practice session to observe and familiarize themselves—many find themselves competing soon after! Whether you're a seasoned shooter or just curious about the sport, The Blue Water 3-Gun Division offers excitement, skill-building, and camaraderie for all.
